APPLICATION PROCEDURE

Applicants should fill in the application form, furnishing all required information. Candidates sponsored by churches, government institutions and voluntary agencies are to apply through responsible authorities. The application form must be endorsed by the sponsoring authority in the space provided. The dates of the course for which one has applied should be clearly indicated. Duly completed forms should reach the office of the Director by mail at least four months before to the commencement of the course.
In addition, applicants for the Certificate (eight-week) course must send in a two-page statement along with the form, describing his/her background and mentioning reasons for wanting to take the course.
Details regarding the course fee are given elsewhere. It may be noted that a non-refundable registration fee is payable within 20 days of intimation of acceptance for a particular course. The rest of the fee is payable by the date of commencement of the course.
Candidates sponsored by chruches who are members of the Association of the Centre, are eligible for a 30% reduction on the tuition and establishment fee.
Since the course develops as a cumulative learning programme, participants are required to be present from the first day to the last. Those who do not come on the first day will forfeit their place in the course.
